Summary: This report estimates that more than 200,000 people are currently displaced within Afghanistan because of armed conflict, ethnic tensions or human rights violations, natural disasters such as drought, or secondary displacement (refugees and deportees who have returned from neighbouring countries). The figure does not include those displaced because of conflict between the government, international coalition forces and armed opposition groups.
