Summary, etc |
Summary: “There is a compelling case for investing in agriculture in Afghanistan. agriculture (excluding opium poppy) accounts for a bout one quarter of national GDP and is the second largest sector after services. About half of all households derive at least part of their income from agriculture, which employs about 40 percent of the national workforce…”—(page ix). |
