Summary: “The Afghanistan National Development Strategy (ANDS) has been prepared and organized under the leadership of the Higher Oversight Committee including the Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Economic, Justice, Education, Commerce and Industry as well as National Security Adviser. The committee was appointed by H.E. the President and was chaired by the Senior Economic Advisor to the President. The Afghanistan National Development Strategy was approved by the Cabinet on 2nd Sawr in 1387 (21st April 2008). Thereafter, it was presented at the Paris conference on 13th Jawza 1387 (02 June 2008) and welcomed by the donor countries…”—(page 1).
