Summary: “The World Bank, through the Afghanistan Agricultural Inputs (AAIP) project, has an objective of strengthening the institutional capacity for safety and reliability of agricultural inputs and sustainable production of certified wheat seed. . This objective will be achieved through four (4) components: Improved seed production and certification; Quality control for fertilizer and agro-chemicals; Improve and expand local input delivery systems; Project management, implementation and coordination.
